Steve Krueger is a long-time Lincoln resident who retired from the Lincoln Police Department in November of 2021 after 20 years of service (25 years in law enforcement.) During that time he served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and School Resource Officer. As an SRO Steve built deep and meaningful connections with the youth and community members in Lincoln. He served as the president of LPAL for several years while he was an officer with Lincoln PD, and continues to do so in his retirement. Steve truly believes in and promotes LPAL’s motto of “Bridging the gap between cops and kids.

A native of Charleston South Carolina and twenty two year veteran of the US Air Force Reserve, Tim Hiott has been a Peace Officer in California for almost a decade. Serving with the Lincoln Police department since 2022, Tim is the School Resource Officer at Lincoln High School where he specializes in bridging the gap between Law Enforcement and the youth of Lincoln. In his career, Tim has served as a Field Training Officer, Departmental Instructor, patrol Corporal, UAS operator and DUI investigator. If you see him out and about, be sure to wave and say hi!

Kris has lived in Lincoln for over 52 years, hometown of her husband and two daughters. She was a Western Placer Unified School District teacher/counselor for 37 years, served as a WPUSD board trustee for 12 years. Her other community service include 16 years on the LCF board, a Rotarian for 28 years, serving as the first woman president in 1995-96, current VP of the Friends of McBean Park Stadium, volunteer for the Lincoln Potters, LPAL and Coalition of Auburn Lincoln Youth.

Jan retired from a 42 year banking career in 2015 as a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank. She worked in the International Division for the majority of her career as a Project Manager and Manager of the Technology Division. She also worked for a short while with Union Bank of California as a Project Manager. Since her retirement, Jan has been volunteering with several community and school organizations.
