National Night Out – August 6, 2025

National Night Out is indeed a fantastic event that fosters stronger relationships between the police, fire departments, and the communities they serve. The 2024 event at McBean Park on August 6th was a great success, with participation from the Lincoln Police and Fire Departments, along with support from various city services, businesses, non-profits, and volunteers. The highlight of the night was a visit from General Mattis, the newest addition to the Lincoln Public Safety departments.
Such community efforts play a significant role in building trust, promoting safety, and enhancing neighborhood camaraderie.
