Shop with a Cop: An Annual Community Event

The Lincoln Police Activities League (LPAL), in collaboration with other local PAL organizations, proudly sponsors the annual “Shop with a Cop” event. This special initiative pairs local students with police officers for a memorable holiday shopping experience.

How It Works: Teachers from our local schools nominate students they believe would benefit most from this event, based on their needs and circumstances. A review committee carefully selects the finalists from these nominations. The number of children chosen to participate depends on the donations received by LPAL.

Why It Matters: Each child selected for “Shop with a Cop” enjoys a personalized shopping experience with one of our police officers, creating positive connections within our community. It costs $300 to sponsor one child for this event.
